How to store the HYP Oasis for longer periods?

Storage the HYP Oasis in a full-size position. Watch the Storage HYP Oasis® and/or, Follow the storage instructions below:

1. Clean the HYP Oasis® with soap and warm water (not the filter). Watch the Storage HYP Oasis instructions via the link.

2. Dry all the parts. *If you want to use the same filter, the time to dry the filter completly takes about 3-4 days.

2.1. Compromise the HYP Oasis® empty 3-5 times to get out as much water from the Filter as possible.

2.2. Remove the filter and let try or, have the FillingNozzle open with the filter and let try.

3. Once all parts completely dry, Mount the HYP Oasis (just let the lid be on unsealed) and store it in full size until the next use.

not over 120 °F / 50 °C.

Minimum temperature?

Tolerates being completely frozen twice before filter replacement.

How do I use HYP Oasis?

Fill & Drink! (filling is also filtering).

Fill by placing the FillingNozzle™ into any lake, stream or running water.

Let the container expand to full size by itself or add a pulling motion to fill the container.

Remove the lid and drink directly as if from a glass.

One fill is 450 ml and takes 40-15 seconds.

How to clean the HYP Oasis?

Once in a while you want to clean the HYP Oasis and it is super easy to wash - avoid getting soap into the Filter.

1. Remove the lid and clean the HYP Oasis completely with soap. Max 80 degree celsius (176° F).
2.Clean around the lid and avoid to get any soap into the filter.
3.Fill the HYP Oasis 1-3 times to make sure it’s purified.
4.Now, you’re done!

Cross contaminations: if you are worried that you got contaminations inside the HYP Oasis when in the wilderness and don't have access to clean the HYP Oasis completely, do the following:

Fill HYP Oasis with clean water 5-10 times and shake it to get the potential contaminations out from the HYP Oasis. *If you have purifying tablets, put it into the HYP Oasis directly, let it activate, and shake. Done.

Filter Lifetime and indicator?

When the filling time reaches 90 seconds with a pulling motion, it’s time to replace the filter (the filter only).

When the filling time slows down, it means that a significant amount of contaminants have been removed. Rest assured, our filters are designed with a long lifespan for your peace of mind.

Lifetime of a Single Filter: Up to 280 liters per filter (one season of daily use) which is 500+ fillings, depending on water quality.

Where and what water can I drink?

Rivers | Streams | Lakes | Tap Water | Anywhere, Anytime.

Enjoy spring-clean, incredibly safe, and refreshing drinking water that retains all the positive minerals.

Always prioritize filtering water from running and clear sources. Avoid filtering from chemically contaminated or potentially radioactive areas (common sense).

How to replace the filter correctly?

Please follow the instructions steps guide and watch the video instructions to replace the Oasis Filter correctly. Watch video via the link or follow the instructions below.

Instructions: 1. Remove the used filter by a twist.
2. Clean the Lid (without the filter) with hot water and soap so it’s clean.
3. Mount the new filter (make sure to have clean hands) and lock the new filter by a twist (so you cannot pull out the filter straight).

Can I improve the lifetime of the filter?

Backflush frequently:

1. Have the HYP Oasis filled with filtered water.
2. Compress the HYP Oasis to portable size upside-down with the FillingNozzle open to remove potential dust/particles from the filter.

For how long can I store an unopened filter?

An unopened Oasis Filter has a shelf life of 10 years, stored under proper conditions.

Performance tips (general)?

Backflush frequently:

1. Have the HYP Oasis filled with filtered water.
2. Compress the HYP Oasis to portable size upside-down with the FillingNozzle open to remove potential dust/particles from the filter.

Usage in freezing temperatures?

The HYP Oasis® tolerates low temperatures and to be completely frozen twice before filter replacement.

Can I filter Ocean / sea water?

No. Filter fresh water only: The HYP Oasis does not filter out salts from the water. Ocean/Sea water can destroy the filter.

Filtration lifetime?

280 liters (one a season): Use daily for one a season (560 fillings).

HYP Oasis® keeps up to 0.5 liters. This super portable container fits into most jacket pockets (about the size of an apple) and can be easily attached with a carabiner. Fill and drink directly or use it to fill other water bottles and packs.

The HYP Oasis® container is always clean inside and ensures refreshing drinking water with every fill, as the filling process also includes filtering.

Have a problem (Emergency) with HYP Oasis?

Cross-contamination, contamination inside the container?

Cross contaminations:
if you are worried that you got contaminations inside the HYP Oasis when in the wilderness and don't have access to clean the HYP Oasis completely with hot water, clean water and soap, do the following:

1. Fill the HYP Oasis 1-2 times.
2. Add a purifying tablet into the HYP Oasis directly, let it activate and shake.
3. Fill the HYP Oasis again 2-3 Times. 4. Done.


*If you dont have access to any tablets: Fill the HYP Oasis 5-10 times and shake to wash out potential contaminations in the container. Done.

Parts broken/Fail?

If you have one part broken on the HYP Oasis or notice a potential production failure?

Please contact us directly to support@fjarran.com with the header “broken part, Order number: XXXX” with a picture or/and video of the problem with a text explaining of the problem in short.

The HYP Oasis and be mounted into parts and we can replace any part as you like with a new one.

Defect product: If it’s a production problem defect, we will replace you with a new product (1-3% can have production defects, standard).

The HYP Oasis does not seal and it comes in air when filling. The bottom and Lid-holder do not match-fit together.

The filtered water has a color?

This is normal. Sometimes the filtered water can still have a color this is due to all the natural positive minerals are retained in the water which can have a color depending on the mineral cocktail from the water souce (no worries).

The container does not get fully filled.

The HYP Oasis normally fills 450 ml (not all the way up) as the filter takes up some space in the container. The container can hold 0.5 l in total.

Filling is so slow the first time of filling?

This is normal. The first 5-10 filling will be a bit slower to activate the filters flowrate (getting the filter fully wet).

*Add pulling motion the first 5 fillings directly at once when staring to use the HYP Oasis.

The Filling-Flow will be improved over time from the first filling when you’re using it daily. Leaving the HYP Oasis 2-3 days can make the filter a bit slower until you have filtered a few times to get the smooth Filling-Flow again.

Can I filter from a tap or running water?

Yes, you can. It’s easy to fill directly from running water (most of the times). Just put the FillingNozzle into the running water and Fill the HYP Oasis with a pulling motion.

*Make sure the running water hits the holes on the FillingNozzle. Expand the HYP Oasis to full size.

Another way is to fill a bowl or similar with water to fill from.

My HYP Oasis® leak water?

Sometimes yes. It’s easy that water can be collected on/in the Lid/FillingNozzle. Shake it off or wipe off the water. Make sure the sealing is fully closed (not too hard).

*We cannot guarantee HYP Oasis is leak-proof due to this.

We recommend having the HYP Oasis attached to a carabiner outside on your backpack or on your waist on-the-go.

What is the cost per liter?

Less than $0,14 / L of top-quality water (per Oasis Filter).

Once a season of daily use.

This is normal. However, please ensure that the lid and filter parts are not damaged, as this could affect the purification process.

The purified water may still have some color depending on the mineral cocktail of the water source. All beneficial minerals are preserved during filtration, which can sometimes give the water a slight tint — no worries!

Sometimes a small amount of water can collect on the lid. Simply shake it off or wipe it dry before placing the HYP Oasis into a pocket, backpack, or similar.

Make sure the lid is fully sealed — it shouldn’t require excessive force to close properly.

*We cannot guarantee the HYP Oasis is 100% leak-proof due to this.

During the first 5–15 uses, the flow may be slower as the filter activates. This is completely normal and will improve significantly once the filter is fully saturated.

You can add a gentle pulling motion during the first few fillings to help speed up the process.

If the HYP Oasis has been stored for a few days or weeks without use, the flow may slow down again at first. After a few fillings, the smooth flow will return.

*When a used filter takes more than 90 seconds to fill, it's time to replace filter.

One filling is up to 450 ml of water. The container has a maximum capacity of 0.5 L.

Note: he water cannot be filled all the way to the top, as the filter takes up some space inside the container.

Defective products:

If the issue is confirmed to be a production defect (which may occur in 1–3% of units), we’ll replace your HYP Oasis with a new one free of charge.

Maximum temperature: 60°C / 140°F

*Always remove the filter before washing.

Max water temperature: 50 °C / 120 °F.

Tolerates being completely frozen twice before filter replacement.

Performance tips:

• Store the HYP Oasis mostly in full-size position for better filling experience.
• Backflush the filter frequently for maintained filling flow.

Storage for longer periods:

1. Backflush the filter a few times, followed by dry backlashing the filter to empty it from water.
2. Clean the HYP Oasis with soap and warm water, without the filter. Follow our Care/wash instructions.

3. Dry all the parts. *If you want to use the same filter, the time to dry the filter completly takes about 3-4 days.

4. Once all parts completely dry, mount the HYP Oasis and store it in full size until the next use.
